Reschedule & Cancellation Policy
Sometimes unexpected conflicts happen that may require missing or rescheduling your appointment. As an independently-owned business, we kindly ask that you please RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE your service begins to avoid being automatically charged 50% of the cost of your scheduled service. This cancellation policy helps protect staff that see guests by appointment only, by providing time to work waiting clients into any available times opened up by a cancellation or a reschedule. Additionally, clients arriving more than 15 MINUTES AFTER their service is scheduled to begin, or clients marked as a NO SHOW, will result in a forfeit of the scheduled service, and the card on file will be automatically charged the FULL AMOUNT of the treatment booked.

I understand that the treatment provider does not diagnose illness, disease, or any physical or mental disorder, nor do they prescribe medical treatment, or pharmaceuticals. I acknowledge that spa services are not a substitute for medical examination or diagnosis. Prior to receiving any treatment, I will state all medical conditions that I am aware of, including all known allergies or prescription drugs or products I am currently ingesting or using topically, and will update the service provider of any changes in my health status prior to each visit. I understand that the service provider is a licensed professional, and by law has the right to refuse services to any client at any time as necessary to preserve an exceptional level of care, safety and service.
GUESTS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE
Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to provide a signature for authorization of their facial treatment session. A parent or legal guardian is not required to accompany the minor client during the service unless requested by the treatment provider.

By booking with Shannella-Bella Holistic Skin Spa, I am agreeing to consult with my doctor(s) prior to receiving any spa services. WAIVER, RELEASE & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Always check with your doctor and or receive consent to receive regular massages.
WAXING WARNING
If you are currently using any of the following prescription medications, you cannot receive a waxing service. You must discontinue use of these medications for a minimum of three months prior to waxing. The exception is Accutane; you must be off this medication a minimum of one year prior to waxing.
The following products are known to make the skin more sensitive. Thin, sensitive skin is more vulnerable to lifting and sensitivity during waxing. If you are currently using any of the following products (or products containing these components), please inform your treatment provider prior to service.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic, Lactic)
Oral Antibiotics
Topical Antibiotics
Retinol (Vitamin A)
Salicylic Acid
Other acne medications not listed above
ONCOLOGY PATIENTS
Due to the complexity and variations of cancer and cancer treatments, it is requested that you receive consent from your oncologist prior to participation in facial treatments at Shannella-Bella, namely treatments including lymphatic massage. If your doctor has restrictions and wishes to review additional information regarding my specific treatment approach and/or skincare products used, I am happy to provide that information.
POST TREATMENT CARE
Following your facial treatment you will need to take precautions to protect your deeply cleansed, exfoliated, and nourished skin.
Do not wash your face the same night of your treatment. Your skin needs a chance to relax. Your facial will have left it quite clean, so there’s no need to wash your face before bedtime.
Avoid makeup, at least for the first day. You can use it after that, but why not take this as an opportunity to flaunt your new, glowing skin.
Avoid exfoliating for up to a week, including acids, enzymes, scrubs or chemically enriched products. This is especially true if your facial included deep exfoliation.
Know that redness is normal. Be prepared for some redness but do speak to your skin care professional. If it seems excessive or lasts several days.
Drink plenty of water. This will help keep your skin refreshed and hydrated.
Avoid UV exposure and saunas. The new skin cells exposed by your facial are sensitive. Give them a few days out of the sun and, if you have to go out, use a high SPF sunscreen.
BY ACKNOWLEDGING THIS DOCUMENT EITHER DIGITALLY OR BY SIGNATURE, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL PROVISIONS, AND I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE. I AGREE TO AUTO-RENEW MY AGREEMENT WITH THE CURRENT RELEASE & WAIVER EACH TIME I BOOK AT SHANNELLA-BELLA HOLISTIC SKINCARE SPA WITHOUT PROVIDING A SIGNATURE EACH TIME.
